FAQ

Q1.What is a “Pre‑Approved” or “Unnamed” LMIA?
An unnamed LMIA (sometimes called a pre‑approved LMIA) is authorized for a position without being tied to any specific individual. Employers receive a positive decision based on the role and labour market need—valid for up to 6 months
It gives employers the flexibility to later add a chosen worker’s name via EMP 5661, rather than applying again for each hire
Q2. What Is the Poland Business-Based TRC?
Poland does not offer a startup-specific visa. Instead, foreign nationals can apply for a temporary residence permit for conducting business activity, under Article 142 of the Foreigners Act. This permit allows you to reside in Poland and manage your own company—typically issued for 1–3 years, and renewable based on continued business performance
